Two hundred and thirty eight
years ago Americans were the most enlightened people on the face of
the earth. Today however, despite their technological advances,
Americans are the most spiritually bankrupt people in the entire
universe, consistent with the word of God the Bible that they so
vehemently deny, which states in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, “And even if our
gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of
this age (Satan) has blinded the minds of
unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of
Christ, who is the image of God.”
And in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, “The coming of the lawless one
(antichrist) will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in
all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort
of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they
refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends
them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that
all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted
in wickedness.
